Well, the news is that the 2013 show season started! We took a trip to Nürnberg, Germany. For the puppies it was a return to their roots, because the first time they were there they were carried in their mummy’s belly. We visited some old places. The yearlings – just as their horoscopes said – made a surprise spontaneous trip into the woods and fields. We called them and they came, waiting by the gate for somebody who could open it. Maybe they were telling us our friends’ garden was too small?
On Sunday we were at a grand market place, where the FCI show took place. Only nice faces, new and old friends. All of the wolfdogs polite to each other as never before!! For the final judgments we had to wait until the end, but it was worth it! The jury was very tough with German judge Hans Joachim Dux, but the results..? GRAN MILAGRO AZUL (Mandżur) received the perfect judgment, excellent first place Junior Winner, Junior CAC, Best Junior and BOB!!!!!!!!!! GRAN ROSA AMIGA (Lola) received also an Excellent mark, first place, Junior Winner and Junior CAC. By then it was so late, that we didn’t wait for the final group competitions.. we had to get on the road for the loooong return home…

Although some time has since passed, it is worth mentioning that last year the Mother’s Day (5/26/2012), the girls participated in a artistic photo session. The session’s purpose was creating a photo collage as a part of the project undertaken by a young artist. The backdrop was novel too – it took place at the Museum of Natural History in Wroclaw. Our dogs were allowed to run in the Museum without leashes, watch and pretend to be the living exhibits, and there were a lot of temptations …
Not everyday is it possible to run between huge whale bones … The photographer is the talented Szczepkowska Katka (Animalmedia, Studio Fotografika). The result of our work can be seen in the literary and artistic magazine “Ritabaum”, No. 25.

It had to rain and snow, but the sun was shining so beautifully… but what is a blue sky when your sun disappears… she travelled the entire country with us, bathed in the sea.. fearless of dogs, people and everything… she helped us raise two litters of puppies.. she was even held in artist Francis Starowieyski’s arms… She was the smallest and the largest at the same time… the founder of our pack, our family…

For the first time Mandżur (Gran Milagro Azul) went to a show without his fan club – Lola and I. Apparently, it did not faze him at all, and once again we can be proud of him, because at both shows he captured the titles Youth Winner, and as the first from the litter, met the requirements for the title of Junior Champion of Poland, receiving in Poznań the title of Polish Junior Winner, 2012!
