Time to say Farewell...

The day finally came when the house became quiet. Well… almost quiet… All of the puppies had gone to their new homes except one female puppy who stayed with us.
The first to leave us was GRAN ROJO CORAZON, home name Jared. He lives with Beata in Wrocław and we hope for frequent family meetings. They plan to do dogtrekking, dabble in dog shows, and maybe add some other activities.
The next dog was GRAN NEGRO BUCANERO, home name Gandalf, who first went to Switzerland and after a few days went straight to his new home in Canada. He lives in Clova, Quebec disctrict. He has many dog friends because Sylvain is a musher, and Gandalf is his inseparable companion who enjoys many forest walks.
GRAN MILAGRO AZUL lives with Kaya. Sometimes in Wrocław, sometimes in Germany, but one thing is certain – this dog is never bored because his lady loves to travel and takes him with her everywhere. His home name is Mandżur. From time to time you will see them in the dog show rings.
GRAN VERDE GUERRERO flew to Spain and lives in Valencia. David’s hobby is paragliding and who knows, maybe some day Artax will fly with him.
GRAN FUEGO MARRON went with Emlyn on a long journey to North Wales. He lives with a female dog Elsie, and he will be running much with Emlyn. Marron belongs to the Czechoslovakian Vlcak Club of UK and hopefully he will help build recognition of the breed in The Kennel Club (UK).
GRAN ORO SOL, home name Kona, left last, flying to her new house in the U.S.A. She lives in Westport, Connecticut, with Debbie who is in the process of training Kona for work as an Assistance Dog.
GRAN ROSA AMIGA, home name Lola, stayed with us. Certainly we will try to present her in the show rings, and hopefully she may like the Frisbees a little? We are also going try tracking. So far, she has been a handful, and keeps Kalinka and us very busy. Plans, plans… but life will show how it will unfold…

Over the rainbow...

On December 5, 2010, a little life was born to our beloved Kali. We named him X-trovertido Cariñoso Atropa Bella Donna. For short, he was called “Cariñoso” – “lovely”.
Cariñoso was born as a dwarf but his heart contained love in excess. Today, sadly we report that Cariñoso has crossed the bridge into the beyond. This morning, he was running and playing and suddenly he was gone. He truly used life well until the end.
We had planned to visit Cariñoso this year, but it wasn’t meant to be for this life.

Good-bye, little Cariñoso.. until we meet again…

DCDC Wrocław 2012!!!

Competitions, finally! After almost a whole year spent on mothering, we finally were able to prepare and start in disc again. The joy was limited by the fact that Kalinka was yet again entering heat, and was so moody. She liked being a mother, I think, because she does everything to have puppies again. But for now that is too much of a good thing. It’s time to focus on training at this time. At the event Kali didn’t show her best side, instead deciding to murder the discs, but in the end, after all, we do it just for fun. And she was playing great!
Shortly after the competition Kali went into heat, so the next competitions are uncertain. In the meantime, here are some pictures by Paula Gumiński.

Exhibition madness!!

p<>.We along with the owners of our puppies started to show our G-litter babies in the exhibition rings. Jared and Mandżur showed themselves beautifully. The boys have a very positive attitude towards the world and people. Both of them are tall, with Jared more like our Lola having a lighter build and Mandżur being more substantive in bone.
In their show debut in at the FCI International Show in Katowice, Poland, (18.03.2012):
GRAN MILAGRO AZUL “Mandżur“– very promising, 1st Place, Best Baby and BIS 3 Baby
GRAN ROJO CORAZON “Jared” – very promising, 2nd Place
GRAN ROSA AMIGA “Leel” – very promising.
In the Zabrze (15.04.2012) and Opole (28.04.2012) FCI Shows, Mandżur once again won and got Best Baby, and in Opole even Reserve Best in Show Baby .
In the Jelenia Góra (13.05.2012) shows, brother and sister competed against each other in the Puppy Class and this time Lola was the Best Puppy.
In Leszno (02.06.2012), only Leelka was shown and though she got second place in class, she showed herself as best she could, so she made me very happy. More shows to go to, and more results to come. In the photos from left to right, Mandżur on the podium in Katowice and Opole, and Lola and Jared gaiting in the ring.

WE ARE ACCEPTING RESERVATION FOR PUPPIES!!!

Our pups are now one week old. All are healthy, strong, and promising for both showing and training. From their first days they have been socialized and familiarized with human touch and they seem to enjoy it. They are raised at home in continuous contact with their mother, people and other animals. Even though they haven’t opened their eyes yet, they seem to seek the company of people. We have 5 males and 2 girls, all in very even colours…
