Preparations for the delivery started just after midnight on 28 October 2011, exactly as our vet predicted. K-lee waited the whole day for all the family to be at home and gave birth to the first puppy at 6:50 pm. The little ones are big and strong, have huge appetite and their coats have rusty-yellow shade. Our family has been enlarged by five boys and two girls. The birth weights and first photos are in section LITTERS – LITTER G. The first day of the pups was sunny and warm. We hope it’s a good prognosis for their long and happy lives in their wonderful homes.

Puppies will arrive soon!!!

In August K-lee met her new fiancée. Their date took place in a picturesque Swiss village Bourrignon. K-lee has fallen in love immediately, Damon too, went mad about her.
Damon du Clos des Guerriers is a beautiful dog of a very stable character. He’s balanced and placid, warm, friendly, gentle towards children and loves fetching a ball.
His head is wolfish, eyes are clear and ears – really small. He has a big neck-ruff in winter, narrow chest and very long legs.
We know the meeting has been fruitful and K-lee is pregnant. Puppies are due to arrive at the end of October. We expect them to have great characters after their parents, good indexes and coats of contrasting colours. More information in the section: CONTACT.
Dracula Golden Trophy - Targu Mures (Romania)
22/09/11 19:35
We finished this year show season with the shows in Romania on 10-11 September 2011. K-lee as usually was in a good condition and at three shows won three times excellent mark, three times obtained CAC, one time CACIB and one Winner. With these successes she fulfilled conditions to receive a nice diploma, huge colourful rosette and the title of the Champion of Romania!!!
We had a chance to do some sightseeing of a small part of this beautiful land. We visited the Bran Castle and spent a lot of time driving. We will definitely return to Romania, hopefully next time for longer. Here are some pictures from the excursion with friends and a few snapshots from the show rings.
2xCACIB Użhgorod (Ukraine)
17/08/11 20:24
We decided to take holidays around the dog shows in Ukraine (13-14 August). We arrived all right and Kalinka, as well behaved as she is, was allowed to play around with our Border Collie friends: Aka and Nona. I will not even mention Guinness who is Kalinka’s love. The weather was amazing and so was the view on Karpatia Mountains.
The show took place in Użhgorod. Once again the judge had changed, which I didn’t mind, because driving so far to get another Polish judge would not be fun. It was a Ukrainian judge eventually, Olga Goncharuk. Kali showed off as well as she could and got all possible rewards: CAC, CACIB, Winner, BOB and Karpatia Winner of 2011. After all Kalinka has some Karpatia wolf’s blood in her.
On the second day the judge was Małgorzata Supronowicz. Kali got all possible rewards once again: the best note, CAC, CACIB, Winner and BOB. As part of practice Kali was managed during the finals by a dog handler we know. I have to admit that she was in her element and was not afraid of a stranger at all. I was so proud that our dog can be so stable.
The way back home was long, it was night and adventures on the border did not help. We made it back home around 7am on Monday.
A short recap: Kali has fulfilled all requirements to become the Champion of Ukraine. We’ve brought back an amazing diploma with a golden seal, 2 cups and 4 medals. But this is not all! Kali has also received the title of International Exhibition C.I.E and Beauty Interchampion C.I.B. There is not much to achieve anymore but we like it so much that we will not give up.
Augsburg CACIB (Germany) - 2011
01/08/11 08:42
Soo…. Augsburg. As part of our holiday travel we participated in another show in Germany. Unfortunately our spot was outside and it was raining and cold. For Kalinka however it did not make any difference. She did her best. We happened to have the same judge as in Croatia (who gave us a very good note) but apparently a year was enough for Kalinka to make it up as she received the ultimate best note, first place, next level of CAC and VDH-ChA, CACIB as well as Best of Breed (BOB). This is now our 3rd step towards German Champion and we still have 2 levels to go but as we like the atmosphere in Germany, we are not in a hurry. There were a lot of dogs from group 1 that have made it to the final. Another coincidence during this competition, again the judge we have met in Croatia. 10 dogs were qualified after the first selection, and then out of these a final 5 was selected. We did not win however we were sure to secure BOG 4 and 5. The reason could be that the dog handler did not present the dog in a ‘Finale’ outfit. The next show in Germany will probably take place next year.
Thanks to our friends we had the chance to visit the Austrian part of the Alps and Kalinka could have a run on the highest Austrian glacier (Groβglockner 3798 m). Kalinka was in her element- chasing gophers and running away. We will never forget this stunning view. Take a look at a few pics below. Have fun!
