Show season has started for good. Katowice in March was our first stop. Kalinka received maximum score and CWC. The Italian judge could not believe that Kalinka has just become a mother, as she looks so young.
The next conformation show was in Berlin. German shows are very well organized. There were quite a few wolfdogs. The jury was controversial; dogs were sent back with very good notes because they were ‘too big’. Decisions were very bizarre but we were not the jury. Kalinka won CACIB, the best female in breed and title ‘Berlin Winner 2011’. We were really surprised but this is what you call a comeback! There is another competition coming soon in Germany…

On 9th of April we went to Ostrava. I thought the show will take place indoors but the ring for wolfdogs was actually outside. There were a few very pretty wolfdogs. We met Lu, Aga and Wojtek and had some quality time. Kali received excellent note but did not get the CAC. But we were still very proud.
30 of April was the crazy DCDC in Chorzów. We are sooo proud of our female!!! Our team got the best wolfdog support. Keep the good job!
We then headed to Jelenia Gora to meet Presta, Lunar, Garo and their owners. BBQ, fishing, relax. 3 days later we had 30cm of … snow!!!
In 2011 we started frisbee seminary with Darek Radomski. Below you will find a movie with mistake corrections and giving frisbee away. Darek has always said that frisbee is for every dog. Thanks to Darek we were able to work on our mistakes and Kalinka is now learning new techniques and skills and she really enjoys it.
So… the day has come. The apartment is empty, dogs are gone. The first to go was Presta, who has left with Krzysiek and Kasia to Zlotoryja. Presta is the new family member and it is difficult to say who the owner is. I should put the entire family as owners. Every dog would like a beautiful house with a garden and loving owners. Fuerta has left on the same day. Monika, the owner did 1000 km to get her. Fuerta’s new nickname is Aslan and she will not be bored at home as she will also meet with older dogs from ‘vom Dreiburgenblick’ in Heckenmünster, Germany. Rapido stayed around for a few days but was then picked up by Karsten and Katharina and taken to his new home in Peine, Germany. His new nickname is Amarok. His companion at home is Aierdale terrier Scott and apparently they are friends already. I hope to see Amarok soon. Both dogs will be far away but I hope we will meet some day.
Val and Cariñoso stayed for a bit longer. Unfortunately Val’s health issues were serious and on 27 of February she has left us for good. But her cute face will stay with us forever. Faith can be cruel sometimes.
Cariñoso moved to a dreamland, the Netherlands. I brought him there personally, met his doctors, new owners and his new home. He will be staying at wolfdog breeding ‘van’t Aelse Sluske’ and wolfdogs’ company has a great impact on him. His new nickname is Chico and we are hoping to see him this year.
We have to now focus on trainings, wait for news from our dogs and spend some time with Kalinka. She will be soon participating in competitions and shows. I hope we will meet our Bella Donnas there as well!
